Copper declined around 1.2 percent on the LME on Thursday mainly on account of rising concerns with regard to global economic growth.
The red metal touched an intra-day low of $9092/tonne and closed at $9145.tonnes yesterday.
On the MCX, Copper November contract declined more than 1 percent and touched an intra-day low of Rs420.80/kg on Thursday.
